Pawvelle™ Pro Pet Grooming Vacuum

First try at grooming my dog besides bathing, so I didn't want to spend too much on a grooming device. I have mobility challenges, so it had to be user friendly as well.This grooming vacuum has got to be the best value in the market. I started with the coming tool... very nice, just push button every few strokes and the vacuum cleans the tines and draws in the hair. Then I took a chance with clippers... I started with the largest guard then used the smallest guard. It was a lot of work because he's a big dog. Now that he's got short hair, I can start with the smallest guard next time.The container is a good size for normal grooming. It was a lot of hair this first time and I emptied the cup about 5 times. I'm pleased that the device is easy to use and the hose is extra long so I didn't have to move around much.With the smallest guard in place on the clippers and the vacuum on max power, I was able to trim his sensitive area easily by hovering the clippers about an inch above his skin and letting the vacuum pull the hair in for the cut.The accessory tray is handy, too.I'm a new pet owner and I've been looking for ways to manage the abundance of fur that he sheds. This plus my robotic vacuum are a winning pair. These pictures are indeed theft same dog, taken about a week apart.

I am beyond thrilled with how well this machine works! I have two dogs: a German shepherd and a bichon/yorkie.For the GSD, I wanted something to help handle his fur shedding and this worked great. He doesn’t love the sound/sucking, but he still let me brush him with it easily. I used the massage brush and then the slicker style brush on him. It did clog once in the handle, but was easy to clear out when I realized what happened. The volume level sounds similar to a vacuum and I wouldn’t consider it overly quiet. I only ever used it on the lowest setting until he acclimated.For the borkie I wanted this for the grooming capability. He’s 17 years old, 13lbs, and does not like clippers because of the vibration and snagging. The sound doesn’t bother him much because he’s mostly deaf. This seriously cut my grooming time in 1/3 of the time. His hair usually clogs the trimmed blades, is difficult to get through, and he doesn’t sit still. This fixed ALL of that. It sucks the fur in whiles it’s cutting and makes it cut so much smoother. He looks great and wasn’t a shaking, anxious mess like he normally is.I love that it comes with a stand for everything, but it’s a bit bulky and I’m not sure where to store it all. Overall I’m ecstatic with this purchase and it was one of the lower priced machines in here!

I'm very impressed with the quality of this vacuum for the price. Even the accessories and attachments are quailty. However, there are a few things I wish were different such as the attachments are on a tray that is thin and awkward to pick up or move around. The base is very thin with no edging or handles to grab and with the weight of all the attachments its awkward to move around or store. It's would work well for a dedicated grooming station but not for the average home. Would have preferred a case or box instead.Second thing is its NOT quiet as specified. The low setting is not bad but low also doesn't have the suction power you need for most uses. Its not as loud as a standard vacuum due to the size of the unit but the higher settings are loud enough that you would need to shut it off to talk to someone or take a phone call as an example. To be reasonable, I dont think its possible to have the power you need without the noise. I purchased this to use on my Ragdoll CATS not for dogs. I've had them 6 months and my house is covered in fur. I needed a way to mitigate some of the shedding since every day brushing was not solving my problem. I decided to turn it on and leave it running near the areas they frequent so they could inspect it and get used to the sound. Then i used all the grooming attachments without being connected to the vacuum and they loved them. Eventally I was able to groom the cats with the vacuum running and they loved it. They didn't want me to stop. So far, low is all they are comfortable with but we will get there.Storage is another issue. They give you a bag with a drawstring on it which is basically useless especially with all the attachments. I plan on using a storage box and shelving it when im not using it. Overall, its a very good product. It's going to save my house from being covered in fur and save my sanity with it.

This made grooming my 2 poodle mixes so much easier! I no longer have hair everywhere or have to groom them outside !! I highly recommend this to anyone that grooms their pet at home. He’s the before and after photos
